How to Duplicate Notion Templates from a Shared Link?

Notion templates are a brilliant way to save time and effort when creating new pages or organising your content. When someone shares a Notion template with you via a link, duplicating it into your workspace is straightforward. Follow these simple steps to add a shared Notion template to your collection:

  1. Click on the shared link: First, click on the link provided by the person sharing the template with you. This will open the template in your web browser.

  2. Sign in to your Notion account: If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to sign in to your Notion account. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one for free.

  3. Preview the template: Once you're logged in, you'll be able to preview the shared template. Review the template to ensure it meets your needs and expectations.

  4. Duplicate the template: To add the template to your own workspace, click the "Duplicate" button located in the top-right corner of the page. This will create a copy of the template and add it to your workspace.

  5. Choose a destination: After clicking "Duplicate," a window will appear asking you to select a destination within your workspace. Choose the appropriate location by clicking on the desired page, database, or folder. If needed, create a new page or folder to house the template.

  6. Confirm duplication: Once you've selected a destination, click the "Duplicate" button in the bottom-right corner of the window to finalise the process.

  7. Access your new template: You can now find the duplicated template in your chosen location within your workspace. Feel free to customise and edit the template to suit your specific needs.

  8. Start using your template: To create new pages based on the template, simply click the "New" button within the template's database or list view, and a new page with the template's structure and formatting will be generated.

By following these steps, you can easily duplicate and utilise shared Notion templates to enhance your productivity and streamline your content creation process.
